A nice clear image of the male Musk.
Look at the nice clean and every feather in place appearance of this musk lorikeet. The clear eyes with distinct outer orange ring with an inner brown ring surrounding the black pupil. The red head patches are nice and clear, the blue area on top of his head is noticeable as is the olive area at the lower neck/upper back area. The small yellow patch of feathers just where the wing top curves over her side gives a nice relief from the constant green. Apart from some food debris at the nose the head is clean and neat.
The wings also sit very close and neatly to the body. He is standing on one leg with just the claws of the right leg visible standing on the left leg. This lori is keen and alert, paying close attention to what is happening.
