Colloidal Silver

I am always interested in the concept of homeopathic medicine and remedies for humans and animals.
So after talking to a few people and enquiring what sort of things have they tried or heard of other people using, colloidal silver was mentioned. So I decided to delve further for information on this substance.
Some interesting facts were uncovered.

• Silver is a natural antibiotic
• It is one of the most powerful disinfectants known
• It has been used successfully against more than 625 diseases
• It is toxic to all species tested of fungi, bacteria, parasites, protozoa and many virii. They will be killed within minutes of contact.
• It has been effectively used with dysentery, tuberculosis, boils, canine palvo, herpes, ulcers internally and externally, burns, eye infections, gonorrhea, fungal, infections, chronic cystitis, eczema and many other medical problems.
• Properly prepared colloidal silver is essentially non toxic.
• It can be used as a deodorant.
• It can be atomized and inhaled into the nose and lungs
• A few drops added to a fish tank acts as an antifungal and antibiotic agent.
• It can assist in building a stronger immune system.
• You can make your own or buy it from a health shop

It is also safe to use on animals and birds as a general tonic or when needed as a remedy such as a rinse for an injured eye or cut.
Internally the dose for a human is 1 teaspoon for an adult and a ¼ tspn for a child daily. You would have to do some calculations depending on the weight of the animal or bird being treated.

I can think of quite a few benefits of having a bottle of colloidal silver in your human and animal first aid kit.
